Illustrator can be used to enhance or correct scanned images.

Illustrator is one of the many software packages Bright Arts technicians use on a daily basis. Many of them have been using Illustrator since version 1.0. They have witnessed the improvements and understand the intricacies of on-screen editing to final film output. Clients can request that Bright Arts correct images scanned from two page spreads to give one continuous image or repair damages from stains, even changing the colours of clothing on figures.
